listening: I have a problem! Every
summer I promise myself that I will NOT become addicted to Big Brother and
every year it just happens! ;) I have been a BB fan since it first aired 16
years ago. It is my favorite reality TV show and it consumes my summer… I guess it’s a good thing I am a teacher and
have summers off. The last few years I have become even more obsessed with BB
and have subscribed to the live feeds which allows you to see the players in
the house even when the show is not on. Like I said before this is a serious
problem, but I guess it could be worse! At least with the live feeds I can have
them on my computer screen and still get some work done!
loving: I am loving having 3 days off. I’m currently
teaching summer school and we started the week after the normal school year
ended so it’s nice to have a mini summer break in the middle of summer school,
even if it’s only for 3 days.
thinking: Even with having these last 3 wonderful days
off, I have still managed to wait until the last minute to get everything
prepped and ready for next week. Although it is nice only teaching one subject
during summer school the curriculum we were given isn’t appropriate for the
students in my class. Luckily for me I have found some amazing units on TPT
that will work perfectly. Now to finish cutting and laminating…
wanting: Really not much more to say. Even though I am
really enjoying teaching summer school and being back with the littles again
{more on that later}… I do {love} and miss having the entire summer
off, but I’m sure that feeling will fade once I get my summer school paycheck! J
needing: Seriously!!! I LOVE printing and finding
awesome teacher resources but all the cutting and laminating and cutting again
gets old, FAST!
4th plans: This year I had no plans for the 4th
and it was glorious! It was nice to be able to relax at home and try my best to
keep my puggle calm, while my crazy neighbors shoot off fireworks until the wee
hours of the morning.
Anyways that’s my July Currently! It has been a blast sharing
with ya’ll and hopefully I can keep up this time around with blogging… Hope your 4th was fun and safe!
